Excerpt from the Far Realm
I dreamed of a sunken city barely cresting the churning waves below. Above this blighted eden the stars burned black against the blinding white heavens. It's unholy architecture clawed unbidden at the clouds themselves. The mercurial metropolis defied every known god in unabashed hubris, completely indifferent to the laws of reality. It's labyrinthine bones shifted and rearranged with the whims of the forgotten ancients. I could feel the madness churning in my mind like the uncanny waves that encircled me. I knew at the time that I could not tarry in this unholy place for long, but I still haven’t found a way to wake from this nightmare corpse city.
